In the fourth quarter of 2024, the word puzzle game category in Switzerland showed varied performance across the top five apps on a unified platform, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Words of Wonders: Crossword saw a consistent increase in weekly active users, climbing from around 14.4K at the start of October to over 22.6K by the end of December. Revenue experienced fluctuations, peaking at approximately $2.9K in the last week of the year. Downloads also showed an upward trend, reaching a high of 3.1K in the same period.

Wort Guru maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at about $2.8K in late December. However, downloads saw a decline, dropping from 847 in early October to just 187 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around 7K to 9K.

Zen Word® - Relax Puzzle Game experienced a decline in downloads from 5K to 1.6K over the quarter, while revenue peaked at $2.6K in early November before tapering off. Active users saw a slight dip, starting at 12K and ending the year at 12.1K.
